A few months ago, we were excited to offer ChatGPT Plus subscribers early access to Browse with ChatGPT, our experimental feature for searching and browsing the internet.

Today, we’re beginning to roll out Browse to all Plus users. Browse allows ChatGPT to search the web to help you with questions about recent events and topics that ChatGPT’s original training data doesn’t cover.

If you’re a Plus user who previously had early access to Browse, you’ll notice some improvements, such as more comprehensive search results, better webpage browsing, and a fresh design.

For those who haven’t used Browse before, the feature is designed to help answer your questions about the world as it is today. Ask ChatGPT about recent events, get help with research, plan travel, or compare products—we’ll use Bing search results to give you current and authoritative information, with links back to sources so you can learn more.

Plus users can access Browse in the selector alongside GPT-4 and previous model versions. We hope it proves useful as we continue to improve it.
