In a significant leadership transition that signals new strategic direction, Southlake Regional Health Centre has appointed Mary Jane Dykeman as its new Board Chair, alongside several distinguished healthcare and business leaders to its governing body. The announcement comes as the hospital continues its ambitious expansion plans amid growing regional healthcare demands.
Dykeman, a prominent health law specialist and managing director at INQ Law, brings extensive governance experience to the role, having previously served as Southlake’s Vice-Chair. Her appointment marks a pivotal moment for the hospital as it navigates complex healthcare challenges while pursuing its $640 million capital redevelopment project.

Further strengthening the governance team, Katherine Reid brings extensive accounting expertise from her partnership at KPMG, and Janice Allen rounds out the appointments with her background in community health services and addiction support networks.
Departing Chair Zahir Mamdani, who served in the leadership position since 2021, leaves behind a legacy of stability during unprecedented healthcare challenges.
